Article length and citation outcomes

چکیده
We examine the relationship between article length and citation counts. Focusing on articles published 2010 2014 in top five economics journals their count Google Scholar, we find that a 1% increase page is associated with 0.56% number of citations. A small survey economists suggests this effect may be result longer containing both theory empirical elements. discuss how our paper improves previous estimates correlation
